"The Pagannini of the Mexican Hot Lands" they call him. It's some cool violin playing, and definitely Mexican and/or South American (some of it almost sounds Peruvian) in its more folksy/bluesy style (as opposed to more directly Spanish or Latin with their stronger Flamenco influences). Other than Willie Royal, I don't know of any other Spanish or Mexican-style violinists. Are there more out there? I certainly hope so....
